2015: The Year We Become FIVE

The year we go from TWO children to THREE.. Little messes to BIG messes.. One in diapers to TWO in diapers.. Tired Parents to EXHAUSTED Parents.. GMC Acadia to... dun dun duuuuunnnnnn... MINIVAN!

  

We knew we wanted three or four children. We both grew up with younger siblings and enjoyed being able to watch them grow into the young adults they have become. We had our daughter earlier than ever planned, but she is still our greatest blessing. It took us five and a half years to decide we were ready to add to our family. I had finished my nursing education, he was doing well with his job and we have this big house that just felt empty. Our son was born in June 2013 and has been such a joy to our lives. Our daughter has been the BEST big sister we could ever ask for. We decided that this time around we would have our next child a little closer in age to our son... I was thinking, three years difference?? Sounds good right? Well, per God's plan, things took place a little earlier than expected and the littles will now be 22 months apart..... Yes, you read that correctly.. Twenty-Two Months apart. Now, I'm sure many of you are thinking, "oh, that'll be easy!" I'm glad you think so! Send me some of your patience and take away a little of my OCD. Deal?? I am very grateful and fortunate that God had this plan for me. I know everything will fall into place with time. I'm, both, excited and nervous for this new adventure in our lives. Follow our family as we become a Family of Five!
